Siddharth Gohil, known by his moniker Khatra, is a visual artist from Baroda, India. His work traverses blackletter calligraphy, graffiti, and abstraction. Gohil creates contemporary and modern letters using different angles and uses them to create satirical word play or phrases.
Inspired by everyday colours, shapes, texture and lighting, he aims to create stories in organic compositions, rendered often with digital sketches. He has worked with the American Centre, F9 Test Kitchen, Gucci, Adidas and done various projects with St+art among others.
Nikunj a.k.a DO is an artist from Baroda, Gujarat, with a degree in visual arts from M.S University, Vadodara. Working with St+art India Foundation from the very beginning, DO’s style has evolved through his experiments with combinations that range from graffiti to illustration. Most recently his practice has been exploring contemporary abstract expressionism.
By imbuing local themes and narratives, he creates intimate interactions with the viewer, whether through his signature tags or figurative illustrations and abstract forms. He has worked with brands like Gucci, Instagram, Levis, Facebook, and Google among others. Most recently, Do was commissioned by Miral in the Yas Bay Island in Abu Dhabi.
Osheen Siva is a muralist and illustrator originally from Vellore, Tamil Nadu. As a visual artist, she experiments with digital as well as traditional mediums to design artworks both for prominent brands and social communities across the country.
Having grown up in a mixed environment between Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and India, Siva’s works carry strong cultural and traditional influences from various sources. The concept of gender, and its intersection with society and technology, alongside the themes of nature, cosmology, dreams and nightmares primarily inform her works. Her work has been commissioned by The New Yorker, Gaysi Magazine, New York Asian Film Festival, Dr. Martens, and Vh1 among others.
