Manoj Darekar (b. 1992) is a contemporary painter based in Pune, India. His artistic journey revolves around the exploration of psychology, particularly the phenomenon of pareidolia, where he seeks to discover faces within various objects and environments. This unique language of faces enables him to delve into human emotions, which he vividly portrays to his audience, fostering a profound emotional connection. Darekar earned his Master's degree in Fine Arts from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Fine Arts in Pune. Notable achievements in Darekar's career include being honoured with the prestigious Prafulla Dahanukar National Award (2017) and his participation in the Students Kochi Biennale, 3rd edition (2016).
