Maitreyee Nimbolkarverified

Active since 2015

Maitreyee Nimbolkar (b. 1989) is a storyteller on canvas, weaving narratives of dreams, thoughts, and life experiences. Since 2015, her artistic journey has evolved from a focus on realism to a delicate blend of realism and abstraction, creating a visual narrative that is deeply personal—a reflection of her chosen lifestyle. Working with a diverse range of mediums, including oils, acrylics, watercolor, gouache, and mixed media, her work explores her unique way of life. In the chaos of today's fast-paced world, painting for Maitreyee is more than just an artistic endeavor; it is a lifestyle choice that provides her with a sense of purpose and identity, allowing her to step away from the relentless pace of the rat race.
Chartered accountant by qualification Nimbolkar is Pune based self taught artist. She has previously showcased her works in various solo exhibition such as For Nile - Ballads of Holocene curated by Minimal Stroke Art Gallery, Pune (2024); La vie en rose at Koregaon Park, Pune (2022) and group shows such as Raag at Nine Fish Gallery, Mumbai (2023)& Konark International Exhibition at Bhubaneswar, Odisha (2023).
