Ayush Banerjee (1997) is a self-taught artist practising abstract art for almost five years now. Studying Media Science from Kolkata, he has always found his solace in the fields of theatre and art, since college itself. He started practising art with the genre of Line Art and slowly and gradually, across the years, he was influenced by the movements of Abstract Expressionism and Surrealism, along with famous artists associated with the movements, which led him to make Abstract Art his forte. For Banerjee, Abstract Art is the tool through which he can express himself completely and connect with the world.
Banerjee Graduated with Bachelor of Media Science (Honours) from NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata (2021)Through his career, so far, he has participated in several art exhibitions, in galleries like Academy of Fine Arts, Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society, etc. He has been presented with several awards with the latest one being an Honorary Award for an online exhibition hosted by Teravarna Gallery in Los Angeles. The artist has exhibited his works in various shows such as Monsoon Magic by Artverse at The Academy of Fine Arts, Calcutta (2022); Monsoon Colour Carnival by The Bengal Art Factory at Jamini Roy Art Gallery, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) (2022);
