Adithyaa Sadashiv (b. 1996) is a contemporary artist specialising in mixed media and painting. His artwork revolves around abstract and spiritual concepts, drawing inspiration from the works of G R Santosh and Indian Tantra. His artistic journey focuses on exploring the relationship and interaction between shapes within a given space. Having learned the traditional Indian watercolour wash technique from his father, Sadashiv incorporates this method into his art to create a sublime and meditative effect. Influenced by thinkers, philosophers, and spiritual personalities like J Krishnamurti and Ramana Maharshi, as well as Hindustani classical music, Sadashiv's work delves into the realms of philosophy and sound.
Sadashiv has held two solo exhibitions titled “Living In The Past'' at Goa State Museum and "Shapes & Forms" at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath in Bengaluru, where his artwork received acclaim from senior artists and art critics. Based in Bengaluru, Sadashiv continues to reside and work, continuously exploring his artistic practice by integrating elements of heritage, spirituality, and traditional techniques into his creations.
